The Talbot residence does not survive, although the remains of a moat, presumably the site of the house, can still be seen in Black Park, 1 1/2 miles NE of Whitchurch.
Talbot household accounts for Blackmere record performances by entertainers there in the early 15th c. Entertainers patronized by the Talbot family appeared elsewhere during the 15th and early 16th c.
